Who’s ready for Feature Friday? Submit your favorite unique and interesting recipes for the chance to be featured on Kitchen Tested!

Every Friday, a new recipe will be posted on Kitchen Tested but it won’t be one of my adventurous concoctions. It’ll be YOURS! All you have to do is send me an email with your own kitchen tested recipe, along with some pictures of your cooking process, and submit it to kitchentested@gmail.com. Each week, I will choose a new submission to be featured and it could be yours! Don’t worry if your recipe doesn’t make the cut right away because you could be next in line.

The first guest recipe will be posted on Friday, September 16th.

Basic information you will need to submit a recipe:

1. A recipe that is uniquely yours

2. A story behind the recipe

3. Measurements and clear directions

4. A picture of the finished product and possibly some step-by-step pictures along the way

5. Bio of the author and picture, if available

6. Link to your website, Twitter, and/or Facebook page, if available

I can’t wait to receive your submissions and start reading all of your individual and exciting recipes! Good luck.

Do you choose to live in a community close to peop Do you choose to live in a community close to people that have the same religious values as you???

Another great example is sports! While so much sports is played on Saturdays, our religious schools will play on Sundays and we even have our own leagues for some sports because of this.

Thanks for the amazing comment, @brycegruber 😘😘😘

@alyssagoldwater wrote a children’s book and it’s a beautiful reminder that all bodies are made in Gds image and it’s a great way for children (and their parents) to learn about self acceptance!

Then stir in a bunch of chocolate chips. Pour into a greased loaf pan, top with a sprinkle of sea salt, and bake at 350°f for 35-40 min. You’ll know it’s done when a toothpick comes out clean. The cake will fall a bit after it comes out but it’s okay! It’s actually so delicious and I think you can use tahini instead of peanut butter.

@ahava is literally un-dupable! Osmoter is a natur @ahava is literally un-dupable! Osmoter is a natural water blend of Dead Sea minerals (can’t find those anywhere else) that draws moisture from within the skins layers to the surface of the skin. And how cool that the Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earth!! And there are no fish, seaweed or plants of any kind in or around the water. What you’ll see on the shores are clusters of white salt crystals!!

We wake up every day thinking it can’t get worse We wake up every day thinking it can’t get worse. We tell ourselves it can never happen here. To those who complain that the Jews keep talking about the Holocaust or wish we would stop talking about Jew hatred, imagine how we must feel experiencing it! We want to talk about it less than you want to hear about it! But we will continue sharing, we will use our voices, we will make sure people never forget!

It took me a long time to learn this as a social m It took me a long time to learn this as a social media creator and now I feel so passionate about this conversation of not showing your little children in your videos.

A few things to consider, whether you’re the one posting or you’re watching other peoples families online:

1. As adults, we ask other adults for their consent to be in videos. Our children should have the same right. And if they aren’t old enough to understand what the internet means, how people comment, who’s saving the videos, what they do with the images, then they aren’t old enough to BE in the videos because they don’t even know what they’re saying yes to. Your kids might have fun making videos sometimes (tho that’s not always the case) but they have no idea where the videos are going.

2. A parasocial relationship is a one-sided emotional bond that people develop with media figures, such as celebrities, fictional characters, or media personalities. Are people creating that relationship with your children as you post them on the internet? Are you someone who watches influencers and feel like you know their children, they toddlers, their newborns? This is a really important question each of us should be asking ourselves.

I know I’ve shown my kids many times in my social media career, even when they were younger, and I’m grateful to those who’ve helped me understand the heavy weight of showing our children to thousands or millions of strangers. I want to pass on my knowledge to those who may not realize what they are doing as they show their own children. If people feel like they “know” your kids and even stop you in public to talk with them, this is your sign to stop 🙏🏻🙏🏻
