I’m taking off a week from cooking and going to Costa Rica! Okay, so I’m also taking a little break from my every day life in New York too 🙂 My wonderful husband and his parents and sister are going to take good care of the kids while I go fishing and frolic with wild animals on the Osa Peninsula with my parents and sisters. I think I deserve a break, don’t you? But the one challenge of taking a vacation with no Kosher restaurants in the vicinity of our fishing lodge is that I won’t get to eat any of the local cuisine. THAT is very sad! If you’re wondering what we will be eating, the answer is very simple: whatever we bring with us. Usually its fruit for breakfast, a peanut butter sandwich for lunch and dinner is kind of up in the air. Needless to say, I won’t be stuffing my face on this vacation. Since I won’t be able to enjoy the local Costa Rican food, I figured I could drool over some pictures instead, courtesy of the internet…
And one thing I can enjoy…
I can’t wait to share pictures when I get back!!! See you soon.
